In honor of national brownie day, I’m posting an easy homemade brownie recipe. These chewy treats will satisfy your chocolate craving in no time. They don’t make a huge amount of brownies, so they’re perfect for a smaller family. However, if you do need to feed a crowd, this recipe can be easily doubled.

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar firmly packed
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8-inch square pan with cooking spray.

In a bowl, sift together the sugars, flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder.

Stir in the melted butter and vanilla. Whisk in the eggs, one at a time, until incorporated.

Spread batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
